Cleanliness

Cleanliness, definition, is the absence of dirt, including dust, stains, bad smells and garbage.

Ok the cat is out of the bag and many of you don't know this about me.(Sarcastic remark) I am just going to come out and say it......I am a messy person. Whoo that was hard. I am not sure if you view me as a clean person or not, my close friends do NOT. My poor roommates had to deal and now Nate (husband) is reaping the benefits as well. Many times I am teased for my cleanliness, which is all in good fun. But I think the teasing is also a c'mon Maegan, really! I am me, yet this me could be a bit more clean. So I thought if I EXPOSE myself, maybe it will break my habits that I have had ever since I was a kid. Although, I have to admit there is a deeper issue behind my cleanliness,
LAZINESS
Laziness keeps me from taking the extra steps in order to keep my life in order.

My nickname should be good intentions Maegan.

So as my school year has ended (Thank God) I have decided to change my messiness and develop a routine of good habits that I can carry on into the next year. Isn't the theory make or break a habit in 21 days!

My goal this summer is to take all my
messy piles
and turn them into something beautiful. I hope to break habits and rebuild routines. In my first attempt to organize my messiness I have created a daily schedule. This schedule includes all of my duties for the week. Each day I must complete one chore sometime in that day.

I have compiled a list of all the messy piles in my life.

Car
Bedroom
spare rooms
Kitchen
Bathroom
Flower beds
The dreaded unfinished basement!

Join me on my journey with messy Piles.
